Every 4 years, the National Intelligence Council publishes it’s “framework for thinking about the future” called the Global Trends (GT) report. The GT 2030 report - published in December, 2012 - looks at the most likely trajectories along which Society could evolve from best to worst case scenarios. It also highlights how much has changed since 2012.

Stalled Engines: In the most plausible worst-case scenario, the US draws inward and globalization stalls.

Fusion: In the most plausible best-case outcome, China and the US collaborate on a range of issues, leading the broader global cooperation.

The “Existential threats” we face today are nothing new. We have been talking (and talking) about Climate Change, Resource Scarcity, Technology, etc for years. Now we need solutions. This is what makes the Sovereign Family Alliance (SFA) timely. By pooling resources we not only place humanity on a better path, but we can reposition ourselves to better take advantage of emerging economic trends.

Given that the US is involved in a trade war with China (among others), it is hard to imagine the Superpowers joining forces to solve the world’s problems. Instead, we need a new kind of alliance to tackle these threats, starting with Families and SWFs.
